Udi's New products!
For anyone who goes to Wegmans you know that they sell a variety of different Gluten free foods. Last time I was there the GIG had a stand set up allowing you to sample popular GF products. One of my favorites was a Lemon Poppy seed muffin created by Udi's Gluten free foods. I was inspired to when I came home research Udi's products, I just recently found a list of all their new products and I thought I should share.

Currently their new products are Cinnamon Raisin Bread, Cinnamon Raisin Bagels, and a Whole Grain bagel.

Gluten Free Girl By Shauna James Ahern
I just found this great book called Gluten Free Girl by Shauna James Ahern, I just started reading it a couple of days ago and have already learned a whole lot. Throughout this book she talks about her life before she knew she had a Gluten Allergy, and great tips for going gluten free. In every chapter there is a new recipe. This book has inspired me to try a new gluten free food each week
This week I tried Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter that we found at Wegmans Supermarket. It was creamy like a spread with a very rich buttery flavor. It was about $4 for a 1/2 pound. Its a little more expensive than regular butter but for special dishes its well worth it.

Great Resturant
I found a great resturant that we went to for my birthday. It is called Piazza Sorento and is in Hershey. http://piazzasorrento.com/menus/glutenfree.cfm (this is their website) They have tons of Italian Gluten Free Meals from Pizza to Pasta and more. It is a great resturant. The link I have here shows their whole gluten free menu plus information on where to find it.

Volcano Nachos
Volcano Nachos About the Dish: I came up with the Idea or a Gluten Free Nacho Volcano through a Dinosaur study my brothers are working on. I tried to make this recipe Gluten Free, Yeast Free, and Malt free, I knew this would be a challenge so that is why I listed the brand name so it would be easier to find for people wishing to create this meal. I would like to give a special thanks to Dana Zamolyi from Kitchen Corner at Giant Food Stores specifically for the Meat Seasoning.
Instructions:
Meat: Cook Meat on Medium Low until fully cooked and then add in the seasoning. Meat should take about 15-20 min to heat on a medium temperature.
Meat: Ground Turkey
Seasoning for Meat: Thanks to Dana Zamolyi
1 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon onion Powder (optional)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1-1 1/2 teaspoon of Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Parsley flake (optional)
Ingredients/ Brand Names
Chips:
Tostitos White Corn Tortillas
Tostitos Blue Corn Tortillas
Sides:
Breakstone's Sour cream
Wholly Guacamole
Chi Chi's Salsa
Black Beans
Homegrown Lettuce
Chi Chi's Corn Muffins (These take 20 min to cook so make sure you start these when you start your meat.)
Again Thanks to everyone who has helped me create the volcano nachos.
